Dubai has released the world’s tallest hotel

In spite of the fact that Dubai is already one of the leading countries of the Guinness World Records including the tallest building- Burj Khalifa, the tallest residential building – Princess Tower, the largest shopping centre The Dubai Mall, the largest indoor ski-resort –Ski Dubai.

Dubai continues to hold the growing list of the world records.

In the beginning of 2013, Dubai has officially announced the opening of the newly built the 355-metre JW Marriot Marquis Hotel, located in the heart of Business Center called Business Bay. The building is officially recognized as the world’s tallest hotel by the Guinness World Record whereas previously built hotel was also situated in Dubai – Rose Rayhaan Rotana. The project has officially been approved by the chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group Sheikh Sayed Bin Al Makhtoum in 2005.

The five-star hotel raised as high as almost half of the height of world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa. JW Marriot Marquis Hotel ranks as 28th in the world’s top 200 tallest buildings and the sixth tallest building in Dubai.

The construction of first phase 77-floor twin towers is already completed. The first tower has been officially opened for the guest last month. The design of the hotel has been developed by the Arch Group Company. The hotel has 804 guest rooms with panoramic views from each tower, 14 restaurants, lounges and bars. It features over 8,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor event space including two ballrooms.
