Manuel Rabat, the director of the Louvre Abu Dhabi, said that Rembrandt is one of the greatest storytellers in the art world. The new exhibition with the works of the representatives of the Dutch Golden Age, Rembrandt and Vermeer will be held here in Abu Dhabi on May 14 – 18, 2019. The paintings are taken from the Leiden Collection and the Paris Louvre. Also, Louvre Abu Dhabi bought one of Rembrandt's works, which depicts Jesus Christ for 47.4 million dirhams ($US 12.9 million) at auction in London, so now the guests of the museum will be able to directly feel all the power and depth of the works of this Dutch masters.
