New Futuristic Driverless Car Designed in Dubai

As practice shows, not only worldwide giants of the automotive industry can surprise with their developments. Thus, two companies from Dubai, W Motors and Iconiq Motors, presented their prototype of a driverless car with a bright futuristic appearance – Muse, at the international car expo, Shanghai Auto.

The new electric fully self-driving vehicle is oversaturated with state-of-the-art technologies, has several onboard computers and is equipped with an infotainment system for a comfortable ride for passengers.

This is so far only a prototype, which is expected to be tested on specially intended sections of roads in Dubai in 2020, and they plan to start mass production by 2023, but now the new product is impressive with its unusual appearance and abundance of possibilities. The future has come!

The cabin has two large screens and four tablets for each passenger, which creates an entirely new trip experience, completely different from that we are used to in modern cars. Swivel seats and a variety of multimedia technologies allow you to turn this car into a mobile conference room. The state-of-the-art cybersecurity technology is also implemented; it virtually eliminates unauthorized entry into the vehicle’s control system.

All progressive humanity understands that the era of gasoline engines is gradually becoming a thing of the past. By 2040, half of the entire fleet of the world will consist of electric vehicles (as of today, electric cars make up only 3% of the total number of vehicles).

Ralph Debbas, founder and CEO of W Motors, proudly notes the role of his company in the development of modern urban transport in the UAE. W Motors became the first developer of luxury sports cars in the Middle East in 2012 and now has focused its efforts on the development of electric vehicles.
