An online travel service, Big 7 Travel makes annual rating of the most “tourist-friendly” cities of the world based on the feedback of travelers from different countries.
Thus, in 2019, the capital of the UAE, the city of Abu Dhabi has entered the top of the list for the first time. Based on the reviews of 1.5 million tourists, the city received 13th place in the overall rating.
Several factors are taken into account for the assessment, for example, such as the ease of navigation around the city, the willingness of local residents to help navigate locally, the probability of making new friends at different events, in restaurants and cafes, etc.
This year, Canadian Vancouver has led the rating, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Bruges (Belgium) got 2nd and 3rd places, respectively. In addition, there are such popular tourist cities as Athens, Glasgow and Hamburg in the top 15 of the list.
