The UAE is considered to be the most attractive tourist destination. And to strengthen its positons further, the Government continues to develop the tourist infrastructure.
The list of the existing attractions will be extended with a climbing wall and a skydiving chamber located on Yas Island.
An architectural solution of the «Clymb» designed by the Miral Developer is a multi-sided diagonal cube bringing some mystery to the overall exterior of the futuristic building. The project will be completed in 2018 after opening a Yas Mall.
The size of the constructions will make the climbing wall and a flight chamber the world’s tallest and widest respectively.
The height of the indoor climbing wall will reach 43 metres making it a world’s record-breaker. There will be four walls offering spaces of varying difficulty for a beginner, intermediate and expert climbers. All visitors of the levels of their training will enjoy the time spent at the «Clymb»
As to the skydiving chamber, it will become another record-holder. The width of its wind tunnel will be 9.75 metres (32 feet), what will make it the world’s largest. This attraction will allow visitors to feel the condition of free fall. Special suits and other equipment will add a sense of reality.
The project is already under implementation. Abu Dhabi is expected to attract 48 million visitors per year by 2022. It will give an impetus for developing the tourism sector in Abu Dhabi and the UAE in general. This attraction is created in line with the general conception of turning the UAE into the most desirable tourist destination in the world.
