Effectively there are a number of companies’ registries / registrars in Dubai as well as other Emirates in UAE.
There is a registry for the LLC companies means the companies registered outside of Free Trade Zones.
There are companies registries in different Free Trade Zones whereby only in Dubai currently there are more than 20 FTZ means more than 20 companies registries in FTZ.
Moreover in one Free Trade Zone there may be 2 different companies registries / registrars – one for offshore companies and one for onshore companies.
Apart of the large number of companies registries the data from the registries is not publically accessible. Only some of the Free Trade Zones publish the list with the companies’ names. Sometimes the tel. number or e-mail address is added as well. No further info is published whereby these lists are not updated regularly.
